Dr. Thompson travels about eighty days a year to make keynote presentations at conferences, run professional development days for teachers, consult to schools or speak to parent groups. He has visited more than five hundred schools in the U.S., Europe, Central and South America and Asia.
International School of Manila (September 2014)
Dr. Thompson visited the International School of Manila in September and also attended a reception at the house of David Toze, Superintendent of the International School of Manila.
Hand to Hand Parenting Workshop in Romania (September 2013)
At the end of September, Dr. Thompson traveled to Romania at the invitation of Otilia Mantelers to conduct a two-day parenting workshop for Hand to Hand Parenting and Totul Despre Mame.
Jakarta International School (September 2012)
With five original students, Jakarta International School was founded by UN workers in 1951. These pioneers introduced relevant schooling in English for children of expats in the newfound Republic of Indonesia. From early days the school’s international identity was clear.
Keewaydin Dunmore (July 2012)
Keewaydin Dunmore was established in 1910 on Lake Dunmore in the scenic Green Mountains of Vermont. One of the oldest and “most venerable” camps in the country, Keewaydin Dunmore covers more than 500 acres and offers campers a range of waterfront and outdoor adventures.
